Press Release - The Anaheim Ducks announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has signed left wing Eric Tangradi to a three-year entry-level contract. Per club policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Tangradi, 19 (2/10/89), has appeared in 32 contests with the Belleville Bulls of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) this season, collecting 20-26=46 points with 41 penalty minutes (PIM). Playing in his third season with the club and his first as team captain, the 6-3, 220-pound winger currently leads the Bulls and ranks fourth in the OHL in scoring. He is currently riding a 10-game point streak (9-10=19) dating back to Nov. 15 at Ottawa, which also includes a five-point effort (2-3=5) on Nov. 19 vs. Niagara. Tangradi was named the Boston Pizza OHL Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 23, collecting 4-5=9 points with a +6 rating in three games. He has registered at least one point in 24-of-32 games this season, helping the Bulls maintain first place in the OHL’s Eastern Conference.
